DRYING

Dryplast — These are systems for drying all types of materials. The equipment uses efficient generators to ensure maximum performance with minimum energy consumption. The dryer generates the required amount of air and maintains the required temperature for each type of material.

DEGA has developed several series of dryers, which are used depending on the type of material to be prepared and performance.

Equipment used
DRY-PLAST – hopper-dryer with hot air

Designed for drying non-hygroscopic material. Non-hygroscopic materials do not absorb moisture into the granule; the drying process consists in removing moisture from its surface. The DRY-PLAST hopper dryer has an air pump that sucks in ambient air, heats it up and  blows  it into the hopper with material. This is the simplest and most economical drying system.

• Power consumption from 2.5 kW

• Siolos volume from 30 to 5000 liters.

• Productivity from 20 to 2500kg / hour.

Silos of TI series are  insulated and  can be fit  directly on the main equipment or   stand on the floor with a special frame. The silos are insulated with rockwool  and covered with  aluminum or stainless steel sheet. Silos  volume ranges  from 30 to 3000 liters and more.

Performance of DEGA hot air dryers for basic materials, kg / h

DD 30-60-70 series with single regeneration chamber

Single tower models with zeolite and dry air flow up to 140 m³ / h provide Dew-Point values ​​down to -40 ° C. Working air temperature up to 190 ° C. The drying process and regeneration cycles are fully automatic and factory programmed to maximize efficiency and minimize energy consumption from the particular combination of desiccant and bin with which it is used.

• Microprocessor control;

• Temperature protection;

• Cartridge filter for circulating air.

 

Optional:

• Control panel with weekly timer;

• Installation of a special probe for displaying the Dew-Point.

DD 80-110-180 series with two regeneration chambers

 Models of dryers with two towers with a molecular sieve and an air flow from 50 to 140 m3 / h provide air supply with a Dew-Point below -60°C. The operating temperature can be up to 190°C. Drying processes for different materials can be programmed on the control panel. In this way, the operator can select the material to be draied and the system automatically selects the most economical operation cycle based on the amount of material to be processed.

* Archive of 35 drying programs with a choice of materials (Easy Material Selection);

* Cartridge filters for circulating air;

• Remote control with weekly timer;

Optional:  

* Display the Dew-Point;

* Special version with Dew-Point up to -650С..

DDK series with cycle control function using a weight sensor

The DDK series has an exclusive patented feature.  Zeolite in the drying process is able to absorb moisture up to 20%, molecular sieves are installed on weight cells, registering the maximum allowable weight change, the system begins the regeneration process. This is achieved by the reduction of regeneration cycles, providing the following benefits: 

  • * Significant energy savings
  • * Automatic function of reducing the heating power at the moment when the weight of the molecular sieve ceases to increase;    
  • * Increase the service life of the molecular sieve; 
  • * Displays the amount of water (in kilograms) absorbed during the drying process, which allows you to evaluate the quality of the purchased raw materials; 
  • * Signal that the material is ready for use due to no increase in the weight of the molecular sieve.

DDR series with continuous drying function

In the DDR series, a rotating cellular rotor with a desiccant layer is used as a molecular sieve, which is divided into three compartments that perform various functions: drying, regeneration and cooling. With this system, the working air coming out of the rotor is always at the highest level of the dew point. It is possible to install two heat recuperators to achieve maximum savings.

Series of mini dryers with dehumidifier AC

AC series dryers use compressed air to remove moisture from hygroscopic polymers. 3 models with heaters in the range from 0.8 to 1.5 kW with an average Dew-Point of -18°C
